The Devil Wears Prada
The devil wears Prada is a comedy-drama. The story is set in New York City in the present day. It is based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel of the same name. The director is David Frankel.
Two famous actresses, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, play the central characters. Meryl Streep plays Miranda Priestly, the famous and powerful editor of one of the most important fashion magazines, Runway. Anne Hathaway plays Andrea Sachs, an aspiring journalist who goes to New York City and gets a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly. The story is about Andrea’s experience in the fashion world.
The fashion world seems like the perfect place to Andrea, but she soon discovers that it is not as she first thought. I think that this movie is hilarious. Streep’s performance is incredible. I think that she is absolutely brilliant.
